សម្តេច ហ៊ុន ម៉ាណែត នាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីកម្ពុជា បានបង្ហោះសារអបអរសាទរខួបលើកទី ៣ ឆ្នាំ ដែលគុនល្បុក្កតោត្រូវបានចុះក្នុងបញ្ជីបេតិកភណ្ឌវប្បធម៌អរូបីនៃមនុស្សជាតិរបស់អង្គការយូណេស្កូ។ សារនេះត្រូវបានបង្ហោះនៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី ២៩ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៥ ក្រោយពីកំណត់ខួបចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី ២៩ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ ២០២២ ដល់ ឆ្នាំ ២០២៥ ដែលគុនល្បុក្កតោត្រូវបានអនុម័តដោយកិច្ចប្រជុំលើកទី ១៧ នៃគណៈកម្មាធិការអន្តររដ្ឋាភិបាលសម្រាប់ការការពារបេតិកភណ្ឌវប្បធម៌អរូបី នៅទីក្រុងរ៉ាបាត ព្រះរាជាណាចក្រម៉ារ៉ុក។ កម្ពុជាបានលើកឡើងថា ការទទួលស្គាល់របស់យូណេស្កូជួយលើកកិត្តិយសវប្បធម៌ជាតិ និងបន្តលើកទឹកចិត្តដល់សហគមន៍គុនល្បុក្កតោឱ្យថែរក្សា និងបង្រៀនបន្ដទៅជំនាន់ក្រោយ។

គុនល្បុក្កតោ ត្រូវបានពិពណ៌នាថាជាក្បាច់គុនបុរាណខ្មែរ ដែលមានប្រវត្តិយូរឆ្នាំ និងចាក់ឫសក្នុងសង្គមខ្មែរជាច្រើនសតវត្សរ៍ ដោយមានភស្តុតាងជាចម្លាក់លើជញ្ជាំងប្រាសាទសម័យអង្គរ។ ការបង្រៀនពេញមួយជំនាន់ដល់ជំនាន់ មានគោលបំណងពង្រឹងប្រាជ្ញា ស្មារតី ការពារខ្លួនពីសត្វសាហាវ និងសត្រូវ ព្រមទាំងការពារសង្គមជាតិ។ រដ្ឋាភិបាល ក្រុមគ្រូគុន និងសហគមន៍បានបន្តអភិរក្ស លើកតម្លៃ និងផ្សព្វផ្សាយគុនល្បុក្កតោទាំងក្នុងប្រទេស និងលើឆាកអន្តរជាតិ ដើម្បីឱ្យវប្បធម៌បុរាណនេះនៅតែរស់រាននាពេលអនាគត។

Hun Manet marks third anniversary of Lbokator as UNESCO heritage

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on 29 November 2025 issued a message marking the third anniversary of Lbokator being inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The anniversary covers the period from 29 November 2022, when the listing was approved at the 17th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in Rabat, Morocco, to 29 November 2025. In his message, the prime minister highlighted that UNESCO recognition raises the profile of Cambodia's cultural identity and encourages Lbokator communities to continue preserving and transmitting this traditional martial art to younger generations.

The article recalls that Lbokator is an ancient Khmer martial art deeply rooted in Cambodian society for centuries, with depictions found on Angkor-era temple carvings. Training from generation to generation aims to build wisdom, mental strength and self-defence skills against wild animals and enemies, as well as to help protect the community and the motherland. The government, together with masters, students and local communities, has been working to safeguard, promote and disseminate Lbokator both domestically and on the international stage so that this heritage remains living and relevant for the future.
