នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ នាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីកម្ពុជា ហ៊ុន ម៉ាណែត និងនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីវៀតណាម ផាម មិញជីញ បានអញ្ជើញសម្ពោធដាក់ឱ្យដំណើរការជាផ្លូវការនូវច្រកទ្វារអន្តរជាតិម៉ឺនជ័យ-តឹនណាម។ ច្រកទ្វារនេះស្ថិតនៅភូមិត្បូងវត្ត ឃុំក្របៅ ស្រុកកំចាយមារ ខេត្តព្រៃវែង ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា តភ្ជាប់ជាមួយច្រកទ្វារតឹនណាម នៅខេត្តតៃនិញ ប្រទេសវៀតណាម ដែលមានប្រជាពលរដ្ឋប្រើប្រាស់ដោះដូរកសិផល និងទំនិញជាយូរឆ្នាំមកហើយ។ ក្រសួង-ស្ថាប័នពាក់ព័ន្ធបានអភិវឌ្ឍច្រកនេះពីច្រករបៀងឡើងជាច្រកតំបន់ និងបន្តឡើងជាច្រកអន្តរជាតិក្នុងឆ្នាំ២០១៤ ខណៈភាគីវៀតណាមអនុម័តកម្រិតអន្តរជាតិឆ្នាំ២០១៧ ហើយបានបើកប្រើជាបណ្តោះអាសន្នកម្រិតខេត្តតាំងពីឆ្នាំ២០២១ ដោយមានសហការរវាងខេត្តព្រៃវែង និងខេត្តតៃនិញ។

តាមរបាយការណ៍ សំណង់ហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធច្រកទ្វារម៉ឺនជ័យ ត្រូវបានសាងសង់លើដីសរុប ៨៩.៥៧៧ ម៉ែត្រការ៉េ រួមមានអគារបំពេញបែបបទចេញ-ចូល អគាររដ្ឋបាល អគារស្នាក់នៅ អាហារដ្ឋាន អាងចម្រោះទឹកស្អាត របងបេតុង ប្រព័ន្ធលូបង្ហូរទឹក និងបង្គោលអំពូលសូឡា ជាមួយថវិកាសរុប ២៦.៤២៤.៦៧៣.៥០០ រៀល រួមទាំងថវិកាដោះស្រាយផលប៉ះពាល់។ ការដំឡើងកម្រិតច្រកទ្វារម៉ឺនជ័យ-តឹនណាម ទៅជាច្រកអន្តរជាតិ ជួយបង្កើនទំហំពាណិជ្ជកម្មពីកម្រិតតំបន់ទៅកម្រិតជាតិ និងអន្តរជាតិ ដោយគ្របដណ្តប់លើទំនិញដូចជា ដំឡូងមី អំពៅ ស្វាយ បន្លែ ផ្លែឈើ គ្រឿងចាប់ហួយ និងគ្រឿងសំណង់។ គិតដល់ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ មានប្រជាពលរដ្ឋឆ្លងកាត់ចេញចូលជាង ៥៣៣៧ នាក់ ខណៈទំហំពាណិជ្ជកម្មឆ្លងកាត់ច្រកមានជាង ១.៣៨៤ ប៊ីលានរៀល ស្មើជាង ៣៤៦ លានដុល្លារ និងចំណូលពន្ធគយជិត ៥ លានដុល្លារ ដែលបង្ហាញពីសារៈសំខាន់របស់ច្រកទ្វារនេះក្នុងការជំរុញសេដ្ឋកិច្ចព្រំដែន និងទំនាក់ទំនងកម្ពុជា-វៀតណាម។

Cambodia and Vietnam PMs Inaugurate Meun Chey - Tinh Nam International Border Gate

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on 8 December 2025 officially inaugurated the Meun Chey - Tinh Nam international border gate linking Prey Veng province with Tay Ninh province. The crossing, located in Tbong Vott village, Krabao commune, Kamchay Mear district in Prey Veng opposite Tinh Nam in Tay Ninh, has long served as a local point for trading agricultural products and goods between residents of both countries. The gate was gradually upgraded from a local crossing to a regional border gate and then to an international gate on the Cambodian side in 2014, while Vietnam approved its international status in 2017. Due to Covid-19, the two governments allowed provincial authorities to provisionally open the gate at provincial level in May 2021 until a formal inauguration by national leaders was possible.

The Meun Chey border facilities cover about 89,577 square metres and include entry-exit processing buildings, a two-storey administration building, staff accommodation, restaurants, a clean water treatment pond, concrete fencing, drainage and solar-powered lighting, built with total funding of 26.42 billion riel including compensation for affected households. The elevation of the Meun Chey - Tinh Nam crossing to full international status is expected to boost trade flows from local to national and international levels, facilitating exports and imports of cassava, sugarcane, mangoes, vegetables, fruits, construction materials and other goods. By November 2025, more than 5,300 people had crossed the border through this checkpoint, while trade volume reached about 1.38 trillion riel, equivalent to over 346 million US dollars, and customs revenue was nearly 5 million US dollars, underlining the gate's growing role in border economic development and Cambodia-Vietnam cooperation.
