Hun Manet Proposes Key Recommendations for Rural Hygiene

On the occasion of the 16th National Day for Rural Hygiene Promotion in 2025, Hun Manet issued 8 key recommendations. He emphasized the need for continued collaboration among all parties to enhance rural hygiene conditions. These efforts include improving coordination mechanisms, increasing data accuracy, and leveraging both private and non-governmental organization support. Hun Manet expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Rural Development and development partners for their active participation in these efforts.

The Prime Minister called for sustained promotion of rural hygiene through cooperation among relevant ministries and agencies. He highlighted the necessity of strategic planning and seeking new technologies to ensure the effective implementation of sanitation initiatives. Furthermore, continued attention to vulnerable groups is essential to enable access to improved sanitation services for all communities.
