Provincial Governor Opens New School Year at Preah Vihear

On the morning of November 1, 2025, Kim Rithy, the governor of Preah Vihear, presided over the opening of the new 2025-2026 school year at Kouksroal Primary School and Hun Sen Chom Khsan High School. The event was attended by deputy governors, national authorities, and over 1000 students and parents. Kim Rithy praised the education department and students for recent achievements.

He appreciated the province's educational outcomes and the peacekeeping efforts by Samdech Hun Sen and Samdech Techo Hun Manet. The event also included discussions on Cambodia-Thailand peace, and the governor urged students to be wary of unexploded ordnance.
