នៅរសៀលថ្ងៃទី៤ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្រសួងការងារ និងបណ្ដុះបណ្ដាលវិជ្ជាជីវៈបានជួបពិភាក្សាការងារជាមួយនាយិកាធនាគារអភិវឌ្ឍន៍អាស៊ីប្រចាំកម្ពុជា លោកស្រី យ៉ាស្មីន ស៊ីឌីគី នៅទីស្តីការក្រសួង។ កិច្ចជួបនេះមានគោលបំណងពង្រឹង និងបន្តកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការលើការអប់រំបណ្ដុះបណ្ដាលបច្ចេកទេស និងវិជ្ជាជីវៈ និងការអភិវឌ្ឍជំនាញនៅកម្ពុជា ដើម្បីឆ្លើយតបតម្រូវការកម្លាំងពលកម្ម និងការអភិវឌ្ឍសេដ្ឋកិច្ច។ លោក ហេង សួរ បានអរគុណ និងវាយតម្លៃខ្ពស់លើលទ្ធផលកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការដ៏យូរអង្វែងជាមួយ ADB និងបានផ្ដល់អនុសាសន៍សំខាន់ៗសម្រាប់ធ្វើឱ្យការសហការកាន់តែរលូន និងមានប្រសិទ្ធភាព។

ក្រសួងបានផ្ដោតលើការចូលរួមរបស់វិស័យឯកជនក្នុងការអភិវឌ្ឍជំនាញ ការកែលម្អយន្តការធ្វើតេស្តវាយតម្លៃ និងទទួលស្គាល់ជំនាញពីមុន (RPL) និងការរៀបចំគោលនយោបាយអភិវឌ្ឍជំនាញជាតិ ដើម្បីលើកកម្ពស់គុណភាពកម្លាំងពលកម្មកម្ពុជា។ លោកស្រី យ៉ាស្មីន ស៊ីឌីគី បានកោតសរសើរកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាពជាមួយរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល និងក្រសួងការងារ ក្នុងការលើកកម្ពស់ផលិតភាព កម្លាំងធន់ និងសមត្ថភាពប្រកួតប្រជែងរបស់ប្រទេស។ ព្រមជាមួយនេះ ADB ក៏បានប្តេជ្ញាបន្តគាំទ្រផ្នែកហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ និងបច្ចេកទេស ដល់កម្មវិធីយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រវិស័យការងារ បណ្ដុះបណ្ដាលវិជ្ជាជីវៈ និងយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រអភិវឌ្ឍជាតិរបស់កម្ពុជា ដើម្បីជួយស្រុះស្រួលការផ្លាស់ប្តូរទៅសេដ្ឋកិច្ចមានប្រសិទ្ធភាពខ្ពស់ និងប្រកួតប្រជែងបាន។

MoLVT and ADB strengthen cooperation on skills and TVET

On the afternoon of 4 February 2026, Cambodia's Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training held a working meeting with Yasmin Siddiqi, Country Director of the Asian Development Bank in Cambodia, to deepen cooperation on technical and vocational education and skills development. The talks at the ministry's headquarters focused on making joint programmes more effective in responding to labour market needs and supporting Cambodia's economic development. Labour Minister Heng Sour expressed appreciation for ADB's long-standing partnership and acknowledged the results achieved so far, while outlining key recommendations to further streamline cooperation.

The ministry highlighted priorities such as increasing private sector participation in skills development, improving the recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment mechanisms, and formulating a national skills development policy to upgrade the quality of the Cambodian workforce. Yasmin Siddiqi praised the strong and effective cooperation with the Royal Government and the ministry in boosting national skills that enhance productivity, labour resilience and Cambodia's competitiveness. She reaffirmed ADB's commitment to continue providing both financial and technical support to the ministry's strategic programmes in labour and vocational training, as well as to broader national development strategies, positioning Cambodia for a more productive and competitive economy.
