ភ្នំពេញ៖ លោក ទេព អស្នារិទ្ធ អនុរដ្ឋលេខាធិការ និងអ្នកនាំពាក្យក្រសួងព័ត៌មាន បានបញ្ជាក់ថា កម្ពុជាប្រឆាំងនិទណ្ឌភាព ហើយក្រសួងព័ត៌មានបានបន្តលើកកម្ពស់យុត្តិធម៌ និងសុវត្ថិភាពសម្រាប់ការអនុវត្តសកម្មភាពក្នុងវិជ្ជាជីវៈសារព័ត៌មាន។ ព័ត៌មាននេះបានចេញពីការប្រកាសនាថ្ងៃទី២ ខែវិច្ឆិកា កន្លងទៅ ដោយបានបង្ហាញពីស្ថានភាពសេរីភាពសារព័ត៌មាននៅកម្ពុជា។ លោក ទេពសង្កត់ធ្ងន់ថា ការលើកកម្ពស់សេរីភាពនេះបានធ្វើឲ្យអ្នកសារព័ត៌មានជាង ៨៦% នៅកម្ពុជា អះអាងថាខ្លួនមានសេរីភាពក្នុងការធ្វើការងារ ដោយមានសុវត្ថិភាព និងបរិយាកាសល្អ។ ក្រសួងព័ត៌មានក៏បានផ្សព្វផ្សាយតាមរបាយការណ៍ថា ក្នុងរយៈពេល ៨ឆ្នាំចុងក្រោយនេះ គ្មានអ្នកសារព័ត៌មានណាម្នាក់ត្រូវសម្លាប់នៅពេលបំពេញការងារ។

លើសពីនេះ ក្រសួងព័ត៌មានបានប្រកាសថានឹងបន្តការលើកទឹកចិត្តចំពោះអ្នកសារព័ត៌មានដោយគ្មានការប្រកាន់ជាតិសាសន៍ ឬនិន្នាការនយោបាយ។ ក្រសួងបានរុនប្រតិបត្តិការលើការពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពវិជ្ជាជីវៈ និងការពារសិទ្ធិ របស់អ្នកសារព័ត៌មានក្នុងព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា។ លើសពីនេះ ក្រសួងបានឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងពីការធ្វើសកម្មភាពតាមក្រមសីលធម៌ និងការអនុវត្តត្រឹមត្រូវ ដើម្បីធានាសុវត្ថិភាពសង្គម។

Cambodia Reinforces Justice and Safety in Journalism

Cambodia's Ministry of Information has reiterated its firm stance against impunity and continues to promote justice and safety within the journalism profession. In an announcement made on November 2, it was emphasized that significant improvements in press freedom have been observed, with over 86% of journalists reporting full freedom in their professional activities within a safe and conducive environment. The ministry's report highlighted that no journalists have been killed over the past eight years in the line of duty.

Moreover, the ministry has stated that it will continue to support journalists regardless of ethnicity or political views. Efforts to strengthen professionalism and protect the rights of journalists across Cambodia are ongoing. Independently, the ministry highlights the importance of adhering to ethical standards and correct practices to ensure social safety and public trust.
