នៅថ្ងៃទី៧ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្នុងវេលាឯក្រុងនៃទិវាជ័យជម្នះ ៧ មករា លើកទី៤៧ សម្តេចតេជោ ហ៊ុន សែន ប្រធានព្រឹទ្ធសភា និងប្រធានគណបក្សប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា បានចេញសារអំពាវនាវដល់ជនរួមជាតិទាំងក្នុង និងក្រៅប្រទេសឱ្យបន្តរួបរួមសាមគ្គីក្រោមបាវចនា ជាតិ សាសនា ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ និងជុំវិញរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល។ សម្តេចបានរំលឹកពីមហាសោកនាដកម្មរបបប៉ុល​ពត និងជ័យជម្នះ ៧ មករា ១៩៧៩ ដែលបានសង្គ្រោះប្រជាជាតិ ព្រមទាំងកោតសរសើរគុណវីរជនកម្ពុជា និងកងទ័ពស្ម័គ្រចិត្តវៀតណាម។ សម្តេចបានលើកឡើងពីសមិទ្ធផលអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ ក្រោមការដឹកនាំរដ្ឋាភិបាលនីតិកាលទី៧ និងនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ហ៊ុន ម៉ាណែត ទោះបីប្រឈមបញ្ហាសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងបរិបទអន្តរជាតិស្មុគស្មាញក្តី។

សម្តេចបានរិះគន់អំពើកងទ័ពថៃ ដែលត្រូវបានពណ៌នាថាបានរំលោភបូរណភាពព្រំដែនដោយប្រើអាវុធទំនើបវាយប្រហារលើកងទ័ព និងប្រជាពលរដ្ឋកម្ពុជា ហែលហេីយច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិ ធម្មនុញ្ញអាស៊ាន និងកាតព្វកិច្ចមនុស្សធម៌។ សម្តេចអះអាងថា កម្ពុជា បានអនុវត្តសិទ្ធិស្វ័យការពារខ្លួន ខណៈរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលបន្តប្តេជ្ញាដោះស្រាយជម្លោះតាមសន្តិវិធី ទៅតាមកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងឈប់បាញ់ ២៨ កក្កដា និងសេចក្តីថ្លែងការណ៍រួមទីក្រុងគូឡាឡាំពួ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ទោះភាគីថៃត្រូវបានចោទថាមិនគោរពកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងក្តី។ សម្តេចថ្លែងអំណរគុណចំពោះបណ្តាប្រទេសមិត្ត រួមទាំងសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក ចិន និងអាស៊ានក្រោមមេដឹកនាំម៉ាឡេស៊ី ក្នុងការជ្រោមជ្រែងឱ្យមានបទឈប់បាញ់ថ្មីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ធ្នូ ២០២៥ ហើយអំពាវនាវឱ្យប្រជាជនលើកកម្ពស់ស្មារតីស្នេហាជាតិ សាមគ្គី និងគាំទ្រកងទ័ព និងប្រជាពលរដ្ឋភៀសសឹក ដើម្បីការពារបូរណភាពទឹកដី និងបន្តដំណើរអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ជាតិ។

Hun Sen urges national unity amid Thai border conflict on Victory Day of 7 January

On 7 January 2026, marking the 47th anniversary of Victory Day over the Khmer Rouge, Senate President and Cambodian People' s Party leader Hun Sen issued a special message calling on Cambodians at home and abroad to maintain unity under the motto Nation, Religion, King and rally around the Royal Government. He recalled the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge regime, the 7 January 1979 victory led by the Kampuchean United Front for National Salvation with support from Vietnamese volunteer forces, and the subsequent reconstruction that has brought peace, democracy and rapid economic growth under CPP leadership and the current seventh-term government of Prime Minister Hun Manet.

Hun Sen strongly condemned what he described as Thai military aggression along the border under the pretext of Thai security, alleging attacks with modern weapons on Cambodian forces and civilians inside Cambodian territory in violation of international law, ASEAN' s charter and humanitarian norms. He said Cambodia has exercised its right to self-defence while坚持 a policy of resolving disputes peacefully based on the UN Charter, ASEAN instruments, existing bilateral agreements and the 28 July 2025 ceasefire and Kuala Lumpur joint statement, which he accused Thailand of ignoring. He welcomed international efforts, especially by the United States, China and ASEAN under Malaysia' s chairmanship, that helped secure a new ceasefire effective 27 December 2025. Hun Sen urged all citizens to strengthen patriotism, self-reliance and solidarity, support frontline troops and displaced civilians, and reject any compromise on Cambodia' s sovereignty and national dignity.
