នៅថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ឧត្តមមន្ត្រីកម្ពុជាទទួលបន្ទុកព័ត៌មាន បានចូលរួមកិច្ចប្រជុំទ្វេភាគីជាមួយតំណាងអគ្គលេខាធិការក្រុមប្រឹក្សាអាស៊ាន ដើម្បីពិភាក្សាការត្រៀមខ្លួនជាប្រធានកិច្ចប្រជុំរដ្ឋមន្ត្រីទទួលបន្ទុកព័ត៌មានអាស៊ានលើកទី១៨ និងកិច្ចប្រជុំពាក់ព័ន្ធ។ ការជួបប្រជុំបានផ្តោតលើកាលវិភាគកិច្ចប្រជុំ ទិសដៅសហការផ្នែកព័ត៌មាន និងយុទ្ធសាស្រ្តផ្សព្វផ្សាយរួមរបស់អាស៊ាន ក្នុងគោលបំណងធ្វើឲ្យការប្រជុំកំពូលឆាប់មកដល់ប្រព្រឹត្តទៅដោយរលូន និងមានប្រសិទ្ធភាព។ ភាគីទាំងពីរបានពិភាក្សាអំពីការរៀបចំបច្ចេកទេស ការទទួលភ្ញៀវ និងការសម្របសម្រួលរវាងក្រសួងព័ត៌មានកម្ពុជា និងលេខាធិការរាជការអាស៊ាន ដើម្បីធានាសុវត្ថិភាពព័ត៌មាន និងការចែករំលែកព័ត៌មានទាន់ពេលវេលា។

តាមរយៈកិច្ចប្រជុំនេះ កម្ពុជា​បញ្ជាក់ពីក្តីប៉ងប៉ងក្នុងការលើកកម្ពស់តួនាទីជាប្រទេសម្ចាស់ផ្ទះ នៅក្នុងដែនកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការផ្នែកព័ត៌មាន និងបណ្តាញមេឌាអាស៊ាន។ ភាគីទាំងពីរបានយល់ព្រមបន្តពង្រឹងការសហការលើការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលមនុស្សកំពូលប្រកបដោយជំនាញព័ត៌មាន ការប្រយុទ្ធប្រឆាំងព័ត៌មានក្លែងក្លាយ និងការផ្សព្វផ្សាយអត្តសញ្ញាណអាស៊ានតាមបណ្តាញឌីជីថល។ កិច្ចប្រជុំទ្វេភាគីនេះត្រូវបានគេរំពឹងថា នឹងមានអត្ថប្រយោជន៍សំខាន់ក្នុងការបង្កើនប្រសិទ្ធភាពការងាររដ្ឋមន្ត្រីព័ត៌មានអាស៊ាន និងធ្វើឲ្យសម្លេងតំបន់អាស៊ានលេចធ្លោកាន់តែច្បាស់លាស់នៅលើឆាកអន្តរជាតិ។

Cambodia prepares to chair 18th ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information meeting

On 26 November 2025, a senior Cambodian official in charge of information held a bilateral meeting with a representative of the ASEAN Secretary-General to discuss preparations for Cambodia to chair the 18th Meeting of ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information and related events. The talks focused on the meeting schedule, priority themes for regional media cooperation and joint communication strategies to ensure the upcoming ASEAN information meetings run smoothly and deliver concrete outcomes. Both sides discussed technical arrangements, protocol, coordination between the Cambodian Ministry of Information and the ASEAN Secretariat, and measures to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of official information.

The Cambodian side reiterated its commitment to playing an active role as host country in strengthening ASEAN cooperation on public information, digital communication and media connectivity. The two parties agreed to promote capacity-building for information officers, deepen collaboration to counter disinformation and fake news, and enhance outreach on ASEAN identity through traditional and online platforms. The bilateral consultation is expected to help align national preparations with ASEAN procedures, improve the effectiveness of future ASEAN information ministers' meetings, and contribute to a stronger and more visible ASEAN voice in regional and global media.
