សេចក្ដីថ្លែងការណ៍បានបញ្ជាក់ថា គម្រោងនៃការសាងសង់ផ្លូវទាំងនេះគឺស្ថិតនៅក្នុងទឹកដីនៃប្រទេសវៀតណាម មិនមែននៅប្រទេសកម្ពុជាតាមដែលមានការផ្សាយលើបណ្តាញសង្គមនោះទេ។ ទំនាក់ទំនងរវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ គឺស្ថិតក្នុងស្ថានភាពល្អ។

Clarification on Road Construction Rumors

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a statement regarding misinformation on social media. According to the ministry, there is no road construction violating the Cambodia-Vietnam Historical Waters Agreement. The image shared online is of a road leading to Ha Tien port in Vietnam. The ministry urges stopping the spread of such false information as it may lead to misunderstandings that negatively affect friendly relations between Cambodia and Vietnam.

The statement clarified that the construction project in question is located within Vietnamese territory, not Cambodia, as misreported on social media. Relations between the two countries remain cordial.
