Top Official Advocates for Agricultural Community Building

Cambodia’s Secretary of State for Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Prak David, stated on November 13, 2025, that forming advanced agricultural communities enhances safety, quality, and value for farmers. He emphasized that through community assembly, production can be organized via contracts that ensure appropriate market supply and alleviate issues such as agricultural price instability.

David highlighted that this communal organizational strategy not only offers benefits like shared resources and community upliftment but also contributes to the prosperity of agricultural enterprises. These efforts collectively aim to improve not only individual farm stability but broader agricultural sustainability as well.
