Cambodia Reaffirms Commitment to Combatting Transnational Crimes

The Cambodian government has reiterated its strong commitment to combating and suppressing all forms of transnational crimes, including online scams, human trafficking, and cyber offenses. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet, Cambodian authorities have achieved significant success in dismantling criminal networks and bringing perpetrators to justice. The government has emphasized the importance of distinguishing genuine victims from perpetrators to ensure humane and just responses.

Cambodia continues to collaborate closely with regional and international partners such as South Korea, China, and ASEAN nations. Joint investigations and intelligence sharing have led to the disruption of major scams and facilitated the repatriation of victims. The government calls for accurate and evidence-based reporting to promote cooperation rather than division. Future cooperation includes strengthening law enforcement, legislative frameworks, and regional partnerships under the ASEAN framework, maintaining Cambodia's enforcement momentum and commitment to safeguarding regional cyberspace.
