Extrajudicial Dispute Resolution Authority Solves Nearly 800 Cases in Two Years

The National Authority for Extrajudicial Dispute Resolution (NAEDR) has processed 769 out of 1,768 cases received by November 2, 2025, within two years of its establishment. Successfully mediating 418 cases, the authority also has 999 cases still under review. New representative offices are extending services to the grassroots level to assist citizens in resolving disputes more efficiently.

The NAEDR has set up four representative offices in the northeastern provinces of Ratanakiri, Kratie, Stung Treng, and Mondulkiri. These offices focus on raising awareness and training on dispute resolution techniques. Additional memorandums of understanding have been signed to enhance cooperation and strengthen user-driven dispute resolution frameworks.
