នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី១ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ព្រះមហក្សត្រកម្ពុជាយាងចូលដំណើរទៅកាន់ទីក្រុងប៉ារីស ប្រទេសបារាំង រយៈពេលមួយសប្តាហ៍ ដើម្បីចូលរួមកិច្ចប្រជុំនៅបណ្ឌិត្យសភាវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ។ ក្នុងពេលដែលអង្គព្រះមហាក្សត្រគង់នៅក្រៅប្រទេស សម្តេចតេជោ ហ៊ុន សែន ប្រធានព្រឹទ្ធសភា នឹងទទួលជួយបម្រើតួនាទីជាប្រមុខរដ្ឋស្តីទី តាមព្រះរាជបន្ទូលផ្ញើជូនដល់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋកម្ពុជា។ ការយាងចូលរួមកិច្ចប្រជុំនេះ បង្ហាញពីតួនាទីសកម្មរបស់កម្ពុជា ក្នុងវេទិកាវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ និងអប់រំអន្តរជាតិ។

ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលគង់នៅទីក្រុងប៉ារីស ព្រះមហាក្សត្រក៏មានកម្មវិធីទស្សនាកន្លែងសំខាន់ៗ ដូចជា បណ្ណាគារ ហាងលក់ DVD វត្តខេមរារាម បណ្ណាល័យឧត្តមសិក្សា និងអរិយធម៌ BULAC និងព្រះរាជដំណាក់ថ្មីរបស់កម្ពុជា។ បណ្ឌិត្យសភាវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ ដែលបង្កើតឡើងនៅឆ្នាំ១៩២២ មានបេសកកម្មសិក្សាអំពីភូមិសាស្ត្រ ប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រ និងវប្បធម៌ នៃប្រទេសអាហ្វ្រិក អាមេរិកឡាទីន អាស៊ី និងអូសេអានី ដែលធ្លាប់ស្ថិតក្រោមអាណាព្យាបាលបារាំង។ វាសម្បូរទៅដោយបណ្ណាល័យជាង៧ម៉ឺនក្បាលសៀវភៅ និងផ្តល់រង្វាន់ដល់ស្នាដៃស្រាវជ្រាវ ទាក់ទងនឹងប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រ និងវប្បធម៌ប្រទេសឯនាយសមុទ្រ ដែលជាធនធានគំនិតសំខាន់ សម្រាប់ការសិក្សាកម្ពុជា និងតំបន់។

Cambodian King departs for France to attend Academy of Overseas Sciences meeting

Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni left for Paris on 1 December 2025 for a one-week visit to attend a meeting at the Academy of Overseas Sciences. During his absence from the country, Senate President Hun Sen will serve as acting Head of State, according to a royal message addressed to the Cambodian people. The visit underscores Cambodia's engagement with international academic and cultural institutions and highlights the symbolic importance of the monarchy in representing the nation abroad.

While in Paris, the King is scheduled to visit several cultural and educational sites, including a library, a DVD shop, Wat Khmeraram, the BULAC higher education and cultural library, and Cambodia's new royal residence in the city. The Academy of Overseas Sciences, founded in 1922, focuses on geography, history and culture related to Africa, Latin America, Asia and Oceania, particularly former French-administered territories. With a library of more than 70,000 volumes and a mission summed up in its motto 'Knowledge, understanding, respect, love', the academy has become a key resource on the history and cultures of overseas countries and awards prizes for outstanding research, including work related to Cambodia and the wider region.
