The Cambodian Prime Minister, Hun Manet, has celebrated the 22nd anniversary of the Royal Ballet's listing as an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Hun Manet expressed his gratitude for the 22 years of recognition, highlighting how the Royal Ballet stands as a significant cultural symbol for Cambodia on the international stage. He thanked the teams involved in ensuring its place on UNESCO's list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

During this occasion, the Prime Minister encouraged ongoing international cooperation to sustain cultural security and preserve intangible heritage. He urged families to uphold traditional practices and integrate them into the new heritage, promoting growth and development within Cambodia's cultural sector. This effort is to position Cambodia prominently alongside other culturally rich nations.
