ក្រុមប្រឹក្សាធុរកិច្ច US-ASEAN Business Council បានបញ្ជាក់នៅថ្ងៃទី១ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ថា នឹងបន្តគាំទ្រ និងពង្រីកកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការ ជាមួយក្រសួងសុខាភិបាល កម្ពុជា។ ការបញ្ជាក់ជំហរនេះ ក្រោយជំនួបការងារ និងសម្ដែងការគួរសម រវាងរដ្ឋមន្ត្រីសុខាភិបាល ឈាង រ៉ា និងគណៈប្រតិភូ US-ABC ដឹកនាំដោយ Jack Myint នៅទីស្តីការក្រសួងសុខាភិបាល ក្នុងរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ។ ភាគីអាមេរិកន៍បានលើកឡើងអំពីការគាំទ្របន្ថែម ដើម្បីជួយលើកកម្ពស់សុខុមាលភាពប្រជាជន និងរួមចំណែកសម្រេចការគ្របដណ្តប់សុខភាពជាសកល នៅកម្ពុជា។

រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីសុខាភិបាល បានអរគុណចំពោះការវិនិយោគរបស់ US-ABC ក្នុងវិស័យសុខាភិបាល រួមមានការចុះបញ្ជីសម្ភារពេទ្យ ឱសថ និងវ៉ាក់សាំង ដែលបានជួយដល់ការធ្វើរោគវិនិច្ឆ័យ ព្យាបាល និងថែទាំប្រជាកិសត្ថ។ រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក៏លើកទឹកចិត្តឱ្យមានកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការបន្ថែម លើការពង្រឹងប្រព័ន្ធសុខាភិបាល កសាងសមត្ថភាពបុគ្គលិក អភិវឌ្ឍហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធ សេវាសុខាភិបាលបឋម អាហារូបត្ថម្ភ សុខភាពផ្លូវចិត្ត និងការថែទាំមនុស្សចាស់ ព្រមទាំងការផ្ទេរបច្ចេកវិទ្យាវេជ្ជសាស្ត្រ។ ភាគីទាំងពីរនិយាយគ្នាអំពីការកែលម្អសម្របសម្រួលពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងវិនិយោគក្នុងវិស័យសុខាភិបាល ដោយផ្អែកលើច្បាប់ តម្លៃសមរម្យ សុវត្ថិភាព និងគុណភាពខ្ពស់ ដែលសមស្របនឹងយុទ្ធសាស្រ្តបញ្ចកោណរបស់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល នីតិកាលទី៧។

US-ASEAN Council vows continued health cooperation with Cambodia

The US-ASEAN Business Council has reaffirmed strong support to expand cooperation with Cambodia's Ministry of Health to improve public well-being and move towards universal health coverage. The pledge was made during a meeting on 1 December 2025 at the Ministry's headquarters in Phnom Penh between Health Minister Chheang Ra and a US-ABC delegation led by board member Jack Myint. The delegation highlighted the Council's intention to continue backing Cambodia's health sector as part of broader efforts to strengthen health security and access to services.

The minister thanked US-ABC for past investments, including the registration and supply of medical equipment, medicines and vaccines that support diagnosis, treatment and patient care across the country. He encouraged the Council to explore new cooperation beyond investment, such as capacity building, health infrastructure development, strengthening primary health care, nutrition and community mental health, as well as elderly care and training for health workers at all levels, including medical technology transfer. Both sides also discussed ways to improve coordination on health-related trade and investment, based on respect for Cambodian law, fair pricing, safety and high quality. The cooperation aligns with the Royal Government's Pentagon Strategy under the seventh legislature, aiming to accelerate progress towards universal health coverage.
