នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ សម្តេចតេជោ ហ៊ុន សែន ប្រធានព្រឹទ្ធសភា បានប្រកាសតាមបណ្តាញសង្គមផ្លូវការ ព្រមានអ្នកដែលបន្លំខ្លួនថាជាកូនប្រុស ហ៊ុន កំសត់ របស់ខ្លួនឱ្យបញ្ឈប់ភ្លាម។ សម្តេចបានលើកឡើងថា អ្នកខ្លះកំពុងយកបទពិរុទ្ធ និងការឈឺចាប់ផ្ទាល់ខ្លួនរបស់សម្តេច កាលពីប្រមាណ៥០ឆ្នាំមុន មកប្រើប្រាស់បោកប្រាស់ ដើម្បីរកផលប្រយោជន៍ផ្ទាល់ខ្លួន បន្ទាប់ពីរឿងកូនស្លាប់ត្រូវបានបង្ហាញតាមភាគនិទាន និងភាពយន្ត។ សម្តេចបញ្ជាក់ថា ក្រោយឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ មានមនុស្សច្រើនជាង២០នាក់ បន្លំអះអាងថាជាកូនប្រុសដែលបានស្លាប់ ហើយមានអ្នកខ្លះផ្ញើសំបុត្រមករក សរសេរតាមទស្សនាវដ្តី និងបង្ហោះបន្តតាមបណ្តាញសង្គមផ្សេងៗ។

សម្តេចតេជោបានឲ្យដឹងថា ករណីបន្លំថ្មីៗមានភាពធ្ងន់ធ្ងរជាងមុន ព្រោះមានការប្រើប្រាស់គណនីបណ្តាញសង្គម និងការអះអាងថាស្គាល់គណនី Telegram របស់សម្តេច ដើម្បីបង្កើតសារឆ្លើយឆ្លងបោកប្រាស់។ សម្តេចបានអំពាវនាវជាផ្លូវការទៅកាន់អ្នកភូតកុហកទាំងអស់ ឱ្យឈប់ប្រើការឈឺចាប់ និងរឿងកាលពីអតីតកាលរបស់សម្តេច មកបន្លំប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ និងរកប្រាក់ឬអត្ថប្រយោជន៍ផ្សេងៗ។ ការព្រមាននេះត្រូវបានចាត់ទុកថាជាសារ​សាធារណៈ ដើម្បីការពារ​ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋពីការក្លែងបន្លំផ្ទាល់ខ្លួន និងបណ្តាញសង្គម។

Hun Sen urges impostors to stop claiming to be his late son Hun Kamsat

On 23 January 2026, Senate President Hun Sen issued a public message on social media warning individuals who falsely claim to be his late son Hun Kamsat to stop exploiting his past suffering for personal gain. He said that since he publicly shared the story of his deceased son through written accounts and a film, at least 20 people have come forward over the years pretending to be that son who died around 50 years ago. Some sent letters, others used magazines, and more recently many have used social media platforms to make these false claims and to mislead the public.

Hun Sen noted that the latest cases appear more serious, as impostors are circulating articles and alleged message exchanges, and even claiming to know his Telegram account, in order to deceive people. He appealed directly to those he called liars to stop using his personal pain and wartime experiences as tools for fraud or for securing financial or other benefits. The statement serves as a public warning for Cambodian citizens and social media users to be cautious about such claims and to help prevent online and offline impersonation linked to his family history.
