នៅរសៀលថ្ងៃទី២៤ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ បណ្ឌិត កៅ ថាច អគ្គនាយកធនាគារអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ជនបទ និងកសិកម្ម (ARDB) បានដឹកនាំប្រតិភូចុះពិនិត្យវឌ្ឍនភាពគម្រោងកាត់បន្ថយភាពក្រីក្រ និងសួរសុខទុក្ខកសិករ នៅស្ថានីយកសិកម្មកូនក្រៀល ក្នុងក្រុងសំរោង ខេត្តឧត្តរមានជ័យ។ ការចុះទីតាំងមានការចូលរួមពីអភិបាលខេត្ត មាន ចាន់យ៉ាដា និងប្រធានមន្ទីរកសិកម្ម សូត្រ ស៊ីសុឃាង រួមទាំងសហការី ដែលបានស្តាប់របាយការណ៍អំពីការអនុវត្តគម្រោង និងបញ្ហាប្រឈមរបស់កសិករ។ គម្រោងនេះផ្តោតលើការជំរុញដាំដុះបន្លែសុវត្ថិភាព និងលើកកម្ពស់ជីវភាពកសិករក្រីក្រ តាមរយៈការផ្ដល់ឥណទានលក្ខណៈសម្បទានពី ARDB និងការគាំទ្រផ្នែកបច្ចេកទេស ការផ្គត់ផ្គង់ធាតុចូល និងការធានាទីផ្សារទិញកសិផលវិញតម្លៃសមរម្យតាមរយៈសហគមន៍កសិកម្មពន្លឺពេជ្រចិន្តា។

ARDB Director General Inspects Poverty Reduction Project in Oddar Meanchey

On 24 February 2026, Kao Thach, Director General of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), led a delegation to inspect progress of a poverty reduction project and meet local farmers at the Kon Krieul agricultural station in Samraong town, Oddar Meanchey province. The visit, joined by Oddar Meanchey governor Mean Chanyada and provincial agriculture department head Soth Sisokheang, reviewed implementation on the ground and listened to farmers' challenges. The project aims to promote safe vegetable production and improve the livelihoods of poor farming households through coordinated support from state institutions, the banking sector and agricultural communities, including concessional credit from ARDB to ensure working capital for cultivation.

Under the project, the Ponleu Pich Chenda agricultural community is responsible for building net houses, supplying agricultural inputs, providing standardised cultivation techniques and guaranteeing purchase of produce from farmers at reasonable prices. During the field visit, Kao Thach praised all stakeholders for their efforts, noting that the project is delivering tangible benefits to rural families. He encouraged continued implementation and announced a plan to expand the construction of an additional 200 net houses in the near future to meet rising demand for safe vegetables and extend support to more farming households. The initiative is expected to contribute to poverty reduction and more sustainable agricultural development in Oddar Meanchey and surrounding areas.
