Cambodia-Thailand Strengthen Peace Cooperation

The Prime Ministers of Cambodia and Thailand signed a joint declaration during a meeting on October 26 in Kuala Lumpur. The discussion was supported by the presence of the U.S. President and Malaysia's Prime Minister. The declaration emphasizes agreements on peace and security between the two nations, under the oversight of ASEAN to ensure effective ceasefire implementation.

Measures to enhance bilateral cooperation include military de-escalation, suspension of provocative rhetoric, and humanitarian de-mining efforts along borders. This initiative aims to foster confidence-building and peaceful conflict resolution, setting a vision for future collaboration.
