នៅរសៀលថ្ងៃទី៣ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ឧត្តមសេនីយ៍ឯក ជួន ណារិន្ទ អគ្គស្នងការរង និងស្នងការនគរបាលរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ និងភរិយា លោកស្រី លីម ដារ៉ែន បានចូលទៅទស្សនាសួរសុខទុក្ខវីរកងទ័ព និងវីរកងនគរបាលកម្ពុជាច្រើនរូបដែលកំពុងសម្រាកព្យាបាលរបួស នៅមន្ទីរពេទ្យនៅរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ។ ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករងរបួស មានវីរយុទ្ធជន បេ សុផាត ទាហានការពារទឹកដីតំបន់ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ ដែលរងរបួសភ្នែកធ្ងន់ធ្ងរទាំងសងខាង និងកំពុងទទួលការព្យាបាលយ៉ាងជិតស្និទ្ធពីក្រុមគ្រូពេទ្យនៅមន្ទីរពេទ្យព្រះអង្គដួង។ វីរយុទ្ធជននេះបានស្នើប្រាថ្នាចង់ជួប និងស្តាប់សម្លេងលោក ជួន ណារិន្ទ ម្តងទៀត បន្ទាប់ពីពេលមុនបានជួបគ្នាតែ១លើក នៅពេលដឹកនាំក្រុមការងារចុះទៅលេងកងទ័ពនៅតំបន់ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ មុនមានការប៉ះទង្គិចយោធាជាមួយថៃ។

Phnom Penh Police Chief Visits Wounded Border Veteran

On the afternoon of 3 January 2026, Phnom Penh deputy police chief and capital police commissioner Chuon Narinth and his wife Lim Daren visited wounded Cambodian military and police personnel receiving treatment in hospitals in the capital. Among them was soldier Be Sophat, a frontline defender at the Preah Vihear temple area, who suffered severe injuries to both eyes during previous border fighting and is now under close medical care at Preah Ang Duong Hospital. According to the report, Sophat had earlier asked, through Lim Daren during her first visit on 2 January, to meet and hear Narinth again, recalling their only prior encounter when the police leadership visited forces stationed at Preah Vihear before clashes with Thai troops.

During the latest visit, Sophat expressed deep emotion and relief at Narinth's presence, saying that hearing supportive words from the police chief and his wife made him feel he was not abandoned, but backed by the Cambodian people and national leaders. Narinth praised Sophat as one of many brave soldiers and police officers who were willing to risk their lives to defend Cambodia's territorial integrity and stressed that the state and public do not overlook such sacrifices, but highly value and seek to save the lives of all wounded personnel. He and his wife urged injured veterans to rest, follow medical instructions carefully and focus on recovery, offering wishes for their swift return home and reunion with their families.
