រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជាបានចេញបទបញ្ជាថ្មីស្តីពីការហាមឃាត់ការនាំចូល ការចែកចាយ ការលក់ និងការជួញដូរ ចំពោះឧបករណ៍អេឡិចត្រូនិកនិងសារធាតុគីមីសម្រាប់ជក់ជាការកាត់បន្ថយនៅក្នុងសង្គម។ ការប្រកាសនេះខណៈពេលដើម្បីការពារសុខភាពសាធារណៈ និងយុវវ័យជាពិសេសក្នុងកម្រិតឱ្យធ្ងន់ធ្ងរនៅក្នុងសង្គម។ រដ្ឋាភិបាលបានចេញអន្តឃានការណ៍មួយដែលមានការចូលរួមពីក្រសួងមហាផ្ទៃ ក្រសួងសេដ្ឋកិច្ចនិងហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ ដើម្បីបង្ការការប្រើប្រាស់ផលិតផលទាំងនេះដែលអាចនាំផ្លូវទៅកាន់ការប្រើប្រាស់គ្រឿងញៀនខុសច្បាប់ផ្សេងទៀត។

Cambodia Implements Ban on Electronic Smoking Devices and Chemicals

The Cambodian government has issued a new directive banning the import, distribution, sale, and advertisement of electronic devices and chemicals used for smoking, as a measure to protect public health. This announcement aims to reduce social harm and prevent illegal drug use, especially among young people. Ministries including the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Economy and Finance are involved in enforcing this prohibition to curb the spread of these products, which could lead to the use of illegal drugs.

Officials have ordered preventive measures to protect youth from the dangers of drug abuse. In this context, the Ministry of Health is instructed to issue guidelines to educate the public on the health risks associated with using electronic smoking devices and related chemicals.
