Banteay Meanchey Officials Distribute Clothes to Children in Safety Center

On November 20, 2025, officials from Banteay Meanchey led by Mrs. Nuon Sophon distributed clothing to children at Wat Jansai Safety Center for displaced persons. The ceremony included participation from notable figures like Mrs. Mey Nary, Honorary Vice-President of the Cambodia Women's Association for Peace and Development. The event was a response to displacement caused by military aggression near Prey Chan village where local residents were affected.

Provincial governor Oum Ratrey urged guardians at the center to continue sending children to temporary classes set up by the authorities. The initiative aims to ensure continued education despite the unrest, nurturing the children to become valuable resources for their communities in the future.
