Kampong Thom Province Opens Social Fund Training

On November 14, the Kampong Thom provincial administration in collaboration with the National Social Assistance Fund opened a training session. This session focused on implementing the National Social Assistance Program for family packages, aimed at commune, district, and city education offices. The session included participation from relevant provincial departments. The priority program supports over 47,664 families, showing provincial commitment to efficiently manage its responsibilities under national priorities.

Under the seventh mandate, with support from Prime Minister Hun Manet, continued financial assistance programs for impoverished families and COVID-19 response measures have been highlighted. These initiatives were part of a strategic policy framework aiming to enhance efforts in providing sustained social support amid economic and health crises.
