នៅរសៀលថ្ងៃទី២១ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្រសួងទេសចរណ៍បានជួបប្រជុំជាមួយក្រុមហ៊ុន JFT Jet និង Lotus Group ក្នុងភ្នំពេញ ដើម្បីពិភាក្សាលើយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រទាក់ទាញទេសចរ និងអ្នកវិនិយោគរុស្ស៊ីមកកម្ពុជា។ កិច្ចពិភាក្សាអភិវឌ្ឍទៅលើការបើកបើកមហោស្រពហោះហើរត្រង់ពីរុស្ស៊ីមកកម្ពុជា ការសម្រួលទិដ្ឋាការ និងការផ្តល់សេវាយន្តហោះឯកជន ដើម្បីលើកកម្ពស់ទេសចរណ៍គុណភាព និងវិនិយោគលើវិស័យសម្រាកកម្សាន្ត។

ភាគីជួបជុំបានលើកសង្កត់ថា ទេសចររុស្ស៊ីមានសមត្ថភាពចំណាយខ្ពស់ ចូលចិត្តសេវាកម្មសុខភាព ស្ប៉ា និងស្នាក់នៅរយៈពេលវែងពី៥ដល់៧ថ្ងៃ ហើយមួយចំនួនអាចស្នាក់រហូតដល់១ដល់២ខែ ដែលអាចជួយបង្កើនចំណូលសេដ្ឋកិច្ចជាតិ។ Lotus Group ក៏រៀបចំបើកសាខា BRICS House នៅកម្ពុជាក្នុងខែកុម្ភៈ ដើម្បីគាំទ្រលំហូរវិនិយោគ និងទេសចរអន្តរជាតិ។ រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីទេសចរណ៍បានបញ្ជាក់គាំទ្រពេញទំហឹងចំពោះការសហការរវាងរដ្ឋ និងឯកជន និងបានផ្តល់អនុសាសន៍សម្រាប់អនុវត្តជាក់ស្តែង ដើម្បីធានាឲ្យកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការនេះមានជោគជ័យ និងមានចីរភាពក្នុងការជំរុញវិស័យទេសចរណ៍ និងសេដ្ឋកិច្ចប្រទេស។

Cambodia seeks to boost Russian tourism and investment

Cambodia's Ministry of Tourism met with Cambodian private jet provider JFT Jet and international tourism operator Lotus Group in Phnom Penh on 21 January 2026 to discuss strategies to attract more Russian tourists and investors. The talks focused on the possibility of launching direct flights between the Russian Federation and Cambodia, easing visa procedures for Russian visitors and investors, and promoting premium services such as private jets to support higher-spending tourism.

Lotus Group plans to open a BRICS House branch in Cambodia in February, which is expected to help channel more foreign direct investment from major emerging economies. The companies highlighted Russia as a key source market, noting that Russian tourists tend to spend more, prefer wellness, spa and long-stay holidays of 5 to 7 days, with some staying up to one to two months, bringing significant economic benefits. The Minister of Tourism expressed strong support for public-private cooperation, offered guidance on practical implementation and accepted an invitation to a major tourism fair in Moscow. The partnership between the ministry, JFT Jet and Lotus Group is seen as an important opportunity to expand the Russian market and strengthen Cambodia's tourism sector and national economy over the medium and long term.
