Ministry of Mines Signs Investment Agreement

On November 17, 2025, the Minister of Mines and Energy, Keo Ratanak, signed an agreement with Renaissance to invest in two additional mineral resource sites in Mondulkiri and Tboung Khmum provinces. These projects are expected to generate approximately $1.5 billion in total revenue over the course of their operations. The Cambodian government aims to attract foreign investors through supportive policies and this agreement exemplifies collaboration between the public and private sectors. The new projects are expected to create about 697 jobs.
