ក្រសួងការងារ និងបណ្តុះបណ្តាលវិជ្ជាជីវៈ បានចេញលិខិតបដិសេធ និងថ្កោលទោសចំពោះរបាយការណ៍អង្គការឃ្លាំមើលសិទ្ធិមនុស្សអន្តរជាតិ Human Rights Watch ថ្ងៃទី២៦ វិច្ឆិកា ២០២៦ នៅភ្នំពេញ។ ក្រសួងបានចោទថា របាយការណ៍ដែលចេញផ្សាយថ្ងៃ២៥ វិច្ឆិកា ២០២៥ គឺមិនពិត មិនមានវិជ្ជាជីវៈ និងគ្មានមូលដ្ឋានច្បាស់លាស់ បង្កការយល់ច្រឡំ និងញុះញង់ ធ្វើឱ្យប៉ះពាល់ដល់កេរ្តិ៍ឈ្មោះ និងការខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងរបស់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល ក្នុងការយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ពលករខ្មែរដែលបានវិលត្រឡប់មកស្រុកវិញ។ ក្រសួងបានលើកឡើងថា ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី៨ មិថុនា ២០២៥ មក ពលករវិលត្រឡប់ត្រូវបានស្វាគមន៍នៅមណ្ឌលសំចត ផ្តល់ដំណើរទៅស្រុកមិនគិតថ្លៃ ជួយលើកសម្ភារៈ ផ្តល់ទឹកសុទ្ធ អាហារសម្រន់ ជួយសម្រួលឯកសារអត្តសញ្ញាណ និងសម្រួលឱ្យមីក្រូហិរញ្ញវត្ថុពន្យារពេលសងបំណុល។

Labour Ministry Rejects Human Rights Watch Report On Returning Cambodian Workers

Cambodia's Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training has issued a formal statement rejecting and condemning a recent report by Human Rights Watch on the treatment of returning Cambodian migrant workers. In a letter dated 26 November 2026, the ministry said the report, released on 25 November 2025, was inaccurate, unprofessional and lacked a clear factual basis, and accused the organisation of intentionally creating confusion and undermining the government's efforts to support workers who have returned to Cambodia. The ministry stressed that since 8 June 2025, returning workers have been warmly received at designated centres, offered free transport back to their home provinces, assisted with carrying belongings, provided with clean drinking water and snacks, helped with identity documentation and supported in negotiating repayment delays with microfinance institutions.

The ministry also highlighted cooperation with local authorities and relevant institutions to launch the 'Khmer Help Find Jobs and Provide Jobs for Khmer' campaign, using hotline 1297 and Telegram to register job seekers without requiring travel. It said on-site job forums have been organised in communes with large numbers of returnees, bringing representatives of enterprises, factories and farms to conduct direct interviews, with a total of 577 such events held. In addition, technical and vocational training programmes have been offered to help workers reskill or start livelihoods in their communities. According to the ministry, more than 280,000 workers have secured formal employment through these measures, while around 80,000 further job vacancies are currently available and more are being collected.
