ASEAN-Korea Summit Outcomes Announced

On October 27, 2025, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet attended the 26th ASEAN-Republic of Korea Summit in Kuala Lumpur. High-level officials announced an emphasis on strengthening economic relations within the region. They endorsed efforts to mitigate existing challenges via advanced technology and called for further action in integrating natural and economic sharing systems within ASEAN-Korea. Prime Minister stressed the importance of removing barriers in economic distribution and energy sectors.

The Cambodian government aims to enhance simplicity in five sectors to boost economic development under the global trading framework.
