នៅថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ នៅភ្នំពេញ អ្នកឧកញ៉ា គិត ម៉េង ប្រធានសភាពាណិជ្ជកម្មកម្ពុជា បានជួបពិភាក្សាការងារជាមួយលោក Waleed Nasser Alsheri ប្រធានក្រុមប្រឹក្សាធុរកិច្ចអារ៉ាប៊ីសាអូឌីត-កម្ពុជា នៃសភាពាណិជ្ជកម្មអារ៉ាប៊ីសាអូឌីត។ កិច្ចជួបនេះមានការចូលរួមពីរដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងទេសចរណ៍ លោក ហួត ហាក់ និងថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំក្រសួង ដោយភាគីកម្ពុជា បានស្វាគមន៍គណៈប្រតិភូអារ៉ាប៊ីសាអូឌីត និងលើកឡើងពីស្ថានភាពសេដ្ឋកិច្ច កត្តាសន្តិភាព និងគោលនយោបាយលើកទឹកចិត្តវិនិយោគ។ អ្នកឧកញ៉ា គិត ម៉េង បានណែនាំឱ្យពង្រឹងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការវិនិយោគ ពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងលើកស្ទួយការតភ្ជាប់ជើងហោះហើរត្រង់រវាងកម្ពុជា និងអារ៉ាប៊ីសាអូឌីត ដើម្បីបង្កើនទំនាក់ទំនងសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងដៃគូយូរអង្វែង។

ខាងអារ៉ាប៊ីសាអូឌីត លោក Waleed Nasser Alsheri បានកោតសរសើរសេចក្តីរីកចម្រើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងពាណិជ្ជកម្មកម្ពុជា និងពន្យល់អំពីគម្រោងវិនិយោគ និងផែនការពង្រីកកិច្ចសហការរវាងសភាពាណិជ្ជកម្មកម្ពុជា និងក្រុមប្រឹក្សាធុរកិច្ចអារ៉ាប៊ីសាអូឌីត-កម្ពុជា។ លោកបានយល់ស្របថា ការហោះហើរត្រង់រវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ នឹងជួយជំរុញទេសចរណ៍ ពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងវិនិយោគបន្ថែមទៀត និងចង្អុលបង្ហាញថាវាជាចំនុចចាប់ផ្តើមសម្រាប់សហប្រតិបត្តិការទ្វេភាគីរវាងវិស័យឯកជន។ រដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ហួត ហាក់ ក៏បានណែនាំពីសក្តានុពលទេសចរណ៍វប្បធម៌ និងធម្មជាតិរបស់កម្ពុជា និងលើកឡើងថា សភាពាណិជ្ជកម្មកម្ពុជា គឺជាច្រកស្វែងរកដៃគូវិនិយោគសំខាន់។ ភាគីទាំងពីរបានប្តេជ្ញាពង្រឹង និងពង្រីកសហប្រតិបត្តិការនៅវិស័យសេដ្ឋកិច្ច វិនិយោគ ពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងទេសចរណ៍រវាងកម្ពុជា និងអារ៉ាប៊ីសាអូឌីត។

Cambodia and Saudi Arabia business councils push to deepen trade and investment ties

On 8 February 2026 in Phnom Penh, Kith Meng, President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, held talks with Waleed Nasser Alsheri, Chairman of the Saudi Arabia-Cambodia Business Council under the Council of Saudi Chambers, to explore ways to expand bilateral economic cooperation. The meeting, also attended by Minister of Tourism Hout Hak and senior ministry officials, focused on opportunities for trade, investment and tourism between the two countries. Kith Meng highlighted Cambodia's current economic conditions, political stability and pro-investment policies as a favourable environment for Saudi investors, and urged the launch of direct flights between Cambodia and Saudi Arabia to facilitate business links and long-term partnerships.

Waleed Nasser Alsheri expressed appreciation for the reception and noted Cambodia's rapid commercial and economic growth. He outlined plans to expand investment and trade cooperation between the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and the Saudi Arabia-Cambodia Business Council, and agreed that direct air connectivity would help boost bilateral commerce and investment. Minister Hout Hak briefed the delegation on Cambodia's peace, security and attractive cultural and natural tourism potential, stressing that the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce serves as a key gateway for identifying investment partners. Both sides pledged to strengthen and broaden cooperation in economic, investment, trade and tourism sectors, with particular emphasis on building closer partnerships between the private sectors of Cambodia and Saudi Arabia.
