Cambodia Reaffirms Its Commitment to Combat Transnational Crime

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has announced that the Royal Government of Cambodia reiterates its commitment to combat all forms of transnational crime. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet, Cambodia's authorities have made significant progress in dismantling criminal networks and prosecuting offenders. The government has intensified efforts in recent years, revoking 120 business licenses related to illicit activities and updating legal frameworks to enhance law enforcement capabilities.

Cambodia is working closely with international partners to monitor and combat transnational crimes within the region. Successful collaborations have included intelligence sharing and law enforcement partnerships with ASEAN and East Asian countries. These efforts have resulted in improved tracking and interdiction of transnational crime operations, showing the effectiveness of enhanced international cooperation.
